ERMOGOSH! There is perhaps nothing more horrifying to a high school fashionista than showing up to the most magical night of senior year (aka prom) wearing the same exact dress as your friend. It happened to frenemies Brenda and Kelly on the original 90210 so it can happen to anyone — even Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola)!
In a new web clip from The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19 (titled “Pictures of You“), Caroline and Bonnie (Kat Graham) are spotted trying on beautiful dresses at a local Mystic Falls boutique. As Caroline slips on a strapless pink silk number (The same one that Elena is seen wearing in the promo!) Bonnie laments about burning couches and Shane’s affect on her powers. Our favorite Mystic Falls witch soon stops all the shop talk to compliment Care-Bear, “Um, you look super hot by the way.” And she doesn’t just end with that. “Matt and I are going to have the sexiest date there!” she remarks. However, while Bon-Bon and Caroline giggle about their excitement for prom and how they’re going to have the time of their lives, who should stroll in but Elena and her new partner in crime Rebekah (Claire Holt).
Watch how rude Elena acts towards her long-time friends (she abruptly inquires about Bonnie’s memory loss) and note the evil glint in her and she gets a load of Caroline’s edgy yet quintessential dress!
